Making of a Masterpiece
Like any other finely crafted work, a Viking pool owes its existence to the creative design concepts of skilled engineers. Paying detailed attention to strength, aesthetics, and safety, our designers formulate a pattern, which is first prepared on paper and then built as a solid fabrication made of wood and steel.
Design features, such as convenience ledges, textured surfaces, swim-outs, and steps, are formed at this time. From this sound sculpture, a fiberglass plug is formed. A plug, in simple words, is a very thick prototype of the swimming pool. From this plug, a fiberglass mode is formed. A mold is a swimming pool turned inside out. Hundreds of swimming pools are superbly replicated from this one mold.
Every Viking pool is created by applying many fiberglass resin layers to a uniquely engineered mold. The firmest possible quality control measures are maintained throughout the process. The several layers of resin are applied with a specifically engineered spray gun that provides airless (contamination-free) spraying, with skilled external mixing at a optimal and constant temperature.
